10 Bendova Street and 12 Klatovska Street

The guided tour starts in 10 Klatovska Street which leads you to the neighbouring house - Klatovska 12 with Dr. Vogl´s apartment. There are only two miraculously preserved rooms – a living room with the replicas of the original furniture and a dining room which has its walls covered by travertine. Those two rooms create a harsh contrast to the world of small offices into which the original apartments were changed. After visiting the apartment in 12 Klatovska Street there is a short 8-minute walk to the other interior which is situated in 10 Bendova Street in the former apartment of Kraus family. in the apartment of the Kraus family in 10 Bendova Street where based on the opinion of professionals, visitors can see the most beautiful salon designed by Adolf Loos. The walls are covered by Swiss marble called Cipollino and the ceiling is decorated by dark mahogany wood. The guided tour also includes other parts of the apartment featuring a former bathroom, a study of Mr Kraus with its amazing wallpaper, a comfortably furnished bedroom with in-built furniture and also a room for a maid with original floor made of red-painted wooden boards.
