Adolf Loos Pilsen to feature in the programme of the Iconic Houses conference in May

Together with Villa Müller in Prague and Villa Tugendhat in Brno, Pilsen – TOURISM is preparing for the 7th International Iconic Houses Conference. It will be held from 22-26 May 2023, and it invites participants to view 16 architectural monuments, including the Loos apartments in Pilsen.

The conference will offer lectures by an expert in the field of architecture, Professor Vladimír Šlapeta, and Loos architectural specialist, Professor Burkhardt Rukschcio, as well as 16 short presentations by the operators of museums and architectural destinations.

An accompanying programme after the conference is prepared for members of the Iconic Houses platform, including an excursion to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana dedicated to the work of architect Jože Plečnik. The programme also features a trip to Venice, where interested parties can individually visit The Biennale Architecture.

The Iconic Houses label boasts a total of 11 villas and residences in the Czech Republic. Aside from the famous Villa Tugendhat in Brno and villas Müller and Winternitz in Prague, you’ll also find Pilsen’s Brummel House on this prestigious list.
